This app makes tuning my 12 string such a breeze! Though my 12string has a built in tuner, i use this app, and thus save an incredible amount of time tuning. I recommend this app for any musician, from beginner to pro!

Please UPDATE! Ive been using this app for 1 year. It was awesome for 8 months very accurate and stable. The last few months its been locking up my phone with every use.

This is exactly what you need for just about any stringed instrument. I love the way it is optimized for strings and lets you customize any number o strings and any tuning for each string. I have no stability problems with this on my iPhone 4S and ios 6.1. I use this to time my violin in record time. The only suggestion I would make is adding preset tunings for classical instruments. While the violin shares mandolin tuning, it would be nice to see preset tunings for violin, viola, cello and double bass.

It works perfectly and gives exactly the tune you want, variety of tunings and a perfect reception of the sound makes this app the best of its kind.

Works great! No landscape mode though...

I used this to tune my ukulele in record time! :) It would be nice if there was a way to choose which string youre trying to tune (ex: if I get an A while tuning my G string it shows it as the correct note), but other wise very nice app!

Was a great tuner until it stopped working. Anyone else having this problem after the patch?

This is hands down the best tuner I have ever used. After 30+ years of playing, I am grateful that such an excellent tuner costs so little. I use it plugged in, not with the iPhone mic, so I cant comment on that.

The A note is set to a standard 440 MHz with no option to change it to a 432 MHz? Thats not pro.

I have a Martin D-18 67 and it has amazing resonance, I broke a string trying to tune it on another app that my friend had that was a lot more in price, and was a little hopeful after the reviews on this. Um, with this apps help I was able to tune my guitar right up, I found that if you tune it dead on the resonance tune may sound different for each string depending on what way it goes > or < even in green, so if you have resonance in your guitar tune them to the exact action for all strings after you pluck them. Its worth it!

This app worked for a bit but it began yo think everything was a C. So its pretty bad.

Ive always liked this app, but this version is buggy. It wont play through and the bypass button isnt working.

okay so it doesnt work for bass so... FIX IT.

Always loved this app. Never had a problem with it until I got the iPhone 6s+. Its almost as if the app cannot access the microphone in order to determine the note you are playing. Seems to just guess F# constantly. Seeing as this app has not been updated for over 2 years, Im assuming the app and not the phone is to blame. Sorry app-goodbye. I found another one AND IT IS FREE!!!
